Inclusive Freestyle Dance Groups

The Move Collective Offers a Space to Learn, Grow and Create

Those looking to get involved in an open and accepting community might just find what they're looking for in The Move Collective, a freestyle dance group that frequently hosts events at the Dovercourt House in Toronto.

The Move Collective's events boast live music, spun by a range of alternating local DJs that help to energize the crowd. A non-profit organization, The Move Collective was created to honor movement and dance as powerful forms of expression, which can be incredibly liberating to those who participate, no matter their age, gender, sexual orientation, size, or background. To maintain an inclusive and open environment that all participants can feel safe in, The Move Collective does not have any leaders, allowing everyone to move however they choose.

The Move Collective is always welcoming new members and makes sure its space is financially accessible to all by allowing guest participants to attend three times over the course of three months on a $1 to $10 basis.
