Matthias Willi and Olivier Joliat’s ‘The Moment Aft

Photographer Matthias Willi and writer Olivier Joliat were able to convince 100 bands to take part in a montage book ‘The Moment After the Show,’ featuring snap shots of musicians.

Willi and Joliat’s book took over 5 years to complete. The duo followed and met up with musicians from all over the world and captured their essence post-show. Major photo-ops include superstars like Iggy Pop from The Stooges and members from big bands both classic and contemporary from The Eagles to The Kooks. Willi and Joliat were able to allow the public into an unknown realm and the photos and quotes are enlightening, as well as endearing.
