The Invisible Race by Sporcks highlights the preserving of the human spirit that was seen in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, athletes everywhere were left devastated and without goals as races, game days, competitions and sports leagues were all forced to cancel. Without the possibility for prizes, medals, or large crowds to cheer them on, athletes everywhere continued to lace up their shoes.
In each ad, different athletes are spotlighted, with each one explaining the unique motivations behind what they do. One woman describes her journey to running a marathon, in which she started training just 20 days after giving birth to her child. In another, a runner falls 1600 meters down the side of a mountain, and the viewer is introduced to his survival story.
