Ultra-Aged Single Malts

The House of The Viceroy 1977 Launches Founder’s Edition Scotch

The House of The Viceroy 1977 debuted with the Founder's Edition, a 15-year-old Speyside single malt Scotch, and the Monsoon Heat Premium Botanical Gin. Founded by Rakesh Rathod, the independent luxury spirits brand introduced the non-chill-filtered Founder's Edition at 46.3% ABV, using first-fill European oak hogsheads to develop its rich texture and orchard-fruit character, while Monsoon Heat features a vapour-infused, spice-forward botanical profile.

The Founder's Edition is limited to 803 individually numbered heavyweight gold-crested decanters, targeting whisky collectors and connoisseurs. Meanwhile, Monsoon Heat is produced using copper-basket vapour infusion with botanicals including black pepper, green cardamom, Scottish juniper and dehydrated citrus peel. Bottled at 42% ABV, the gin has already earned two Gold medals at The Global Spirits Masters 2026.

Together, the releases reflect the growing demand for premium spirits that pair traditional production methods with distinctive brand storytelling. The collection also highlights the continued appeal of limited-edition bottlings and cross-cultural luxury positioning within the global beverage market.
