'The Gunk' is an action adventure game that's developed by Image & Form Games and Thunderful Development AB. Set in a dangerous planet that's been overtaken by a parasitic species, players act as a duo of space explorers who hope to save it.
Originally landing to gather resources and alien parts, the space explorers uncover that the once vibrant planet has been largely destroyed by corruptive "gunk" that eats away at all life forms. As they work to destroy the parasites and bring life back to the planet, players will have to survive monstrous encounters, gather materials, craft supplies, and explore the mysterious new world.
The Gunk is set to launch in September 2021, and will be exclusively available on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows
