Over the past few years, pop-up bars, street food stalls and restaurants have become quite common to consumers, but 'The Dining Club' from IKEA is set to introduce an entirely new type of experience.
Unlike most food pop-ups that offer ready-to-eat meals, The Dining Club will give attendees the chance to prepare their own brunch, lunch or dinner under the guidance of a head chef. The "DIY restaurant" is opening in Shoreditch, East London for a short time and requires groups of up to 19 people to apply online for the unique entertaining experience.
As well as encouraging friends and family member to bond in the kitchen and around the dinner table, the event will give diners the chance to browse the IKEA kitchen shop and showroom.
