The Barman Makes It Easy to Make the Perfect Cocktail

Those who always wanted to pretend they were Tom Cruise in the movie 'Cocktail' will want to help the Barman go from concept to reality. The Barman is a Kickstarter project created by John Gallagher. The device works with your smartphone to help you make the perfect drink every time. The device works by using differential weighing, it excludes the weight of the glass and ice and only measures the liquid poured.

To use the Barman, you must first pick a drink or make one of your own using the Barman app. Once a drink is chosen, its info is relayed to the device via Bluetooth. You will then be told what and how much to pour in. A progress bar fills up and a red light tells you to stop pouring when you've hit the liquid limit. The project is seeking $50,000 in funding with $21,000 of that already committed.
