Implications - If you want to be like the Dark Knight climbing up high buildings, the Atlas Rope Ascender will promote you to that superhero status. The device is the size of a small handheld power tool. The rope can impressively lift 250 pounds and lift you 600 feet in the air at 10 feet per second. Therefore, you can reach a 30-story building in literally 30 seconds. I can see this gadget being extremely beneficial to police officers, fire fighters and anyone else involved in rescue missions.
