FRANCHISE and The NBA Announced 'The Association' NFT Collection

The NBA announced 'The Association NFT Collection,' a set of 30,000 digital collectibles made in collaboration with 'FRANCHISE.' FRANCHISE is a magazine and entertainment company that frequently covers basketball across stories, fashion, and collaborations. The 30,000 NFTs in The Association will each be tied to a player from one of the 16 teams in the NBA Playoff series.

The NFTs will be released as the playoffs progress. At the beginning of the series, each NFT will be designed in a similar fashion. Then, as the playoffs progress and players score different numbers of baskets and accolades, the future iterations of each NFT will be designed to reflect the achievements of each player. FRANCHISE and the NBA are auctioning these 30,000 NFTs on OpenSea, an online NFT marketplace.
