Designed by VLND Studio, the ARC BOT is reminiscent of the famous robots we have grown to know and love from sci-fi pictures like 'Star Wars' and 'WALL-E.' This futuristic robot is powered by the artificial robot cloud (ARC) system. It is designed for Internet portal NAVER LABS who already uses the robot in its headquarters.
Plans to deploy the ARC BOT intelligence system to another building in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province are currently underway. The autonomously driving robot uses ToF sensors and several cameras to navigate its path. It can serve four drinks at a time and has four built-in gimbals with two-axis structures to keep the machinery stable and keep the drinks from spilling.
