Having a fantastic place to work is essential to find the best inspiration, which is why the studio of danish artist Tenka Gammelgaard is a work of art in its own right. Decorated with opaque tones such as grey, black and white, this room was featured in the October issue of Elle Decoration UK.
At first sight, the space looks like an explosion of paint; however, the salon is carefully organized and adorned. With multiple black drips on the white floor, paintbrushes embellished with black and white strips and a collection of portraits and paintings hanging from a shelf, this workshop is a tidy anarchy of art: a celebration of creation.
The Tenka Gammelgaard studio only has a few sparks of yellow, which represent the warmth of the sun and the faith of the artist.
