The Tempo Drop Predicts Changes in the Weather

Designed by Perrocaliente, the Tempo Drop is an elegant drop-shaped vial that can be used as an elegant and beautiful paper weight or as decoration for your desk or shelf.

However, this magnificent sculptural piece is not just an idle bauble; it can actually foretell the future. Maybe not every little detail, but it is certainly useful for noting when the temperature of the weather is expected to drop. Made out of storm glass, the urn contains a liquid sealed within that is a mixture of distilled water, camphor, and ethanol liquids. When weather conditions change, the glass starts to frost up, becoming cloudy and alerting you to the fact that you may want to break out your winter coat.

As a bonus, the Tempo Drop is more attractive than the weatherman.
