The British tattoo artist Saira Hunjan creates tattooed leather bags as part of her collections and collaborations with outside artists, brands and designers.
The artist is able to offer styles that are more sophisticated than some of the first designs that first mixed tattoo art with clothing and accessories. The items she used as her canvas were the Italian brand 'Double T's' messenger bags and she created five different pieces of art that encapsulate the brand's history. Rather than simply create a tattoo-inspired design for the bags, she actually tattooed the artwork directly onto them.
