Taro-Based Donut Holes

Holey Grail Donuts Just Unveiled New Taro-Based Donut Holes

Hawaii-based Holey Grail Donuts has just unveiled the world's first-ever taro-based donut holes.

The new made-to-order taro-based donut holes are an innovative new donut that's been more than a year in the making. The new 'Holeys' as the brand calls them were developed by Holey Grail co-founders and siblings Nile and Hana Dreiling using a unique combination of taro and rice flour. The result is a completely gluten-free donut hole with a crisp exterior and a sweet, chewy interior. The brand's new Holeys are served in the brand's signature Original Sin flavor, with Hawaiian vanilla bean, maple and sea salt, as well as a weekly rotating special flavor.

To celebrate the exciting new launch, the brand is offering a free Holey to anyone who purchases a donut on June 7th, National Donut Day.
