Candied Fruit Gins

Peddlers' Tanghulu Street Candy Gin Celebrates the Year of the Horse

For the Year of the Snake, Peddlers Gin launched a special-edition Snake Oil Gin and in celebration of the Year of the Horse, China's first craft gin brand created Tanghulu Street Candy Gin. This new addition to the annual limited-edition series pays tribute to a favorite snack on a stick, typically served by skewering fruits and coating them in heated sugar syrup that hardens as it cools.

Tanghulu can be made from a wide variety of fruits, from traditional hawthorn berries and strawberries to modern variations using grapes, kiwis, oranges, and even blueberries. Peddlers' take on this popular street snack, a Chinese-style sloe gin, is infused with hawthorn, Guangdong liquorice, strawberry, juniper, coriander seed, Nanjing angelica, and Buddha’s Hand citrus.

Tanghulu Street Candy Gin can be sipped neat, on the rocks, or worked into signature serves like the Tanghulu Mule cocktail.
