Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity Debuts Tables, Tables, Tables

Tables, Tables, Tables is the latest exhibition from the Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity and as one might guess, the central design theme of the event is, well, tables. The curated show explores the contributions of Charles and Ray Eames—an American industrial design couple who made significant contributions to the world of modern architecture and furniture. The exhibition is curated by Llisa Demetrios, the Eames's youngest granddaughter, and the Institute's Chief Curator.

Tables, Tables, Tables showcases extremely impressive designs by Charles and Ray—"from the folding legs of the DTM to the flexible system offered by the Segmented Base tables [from 1964]." Amid the pieces are some early plywood works by the Eames, as well as some experimental prototypes from their workplace.
