Designer-Artist Exploration Exhibits

The Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity Debuts an Exhibit

The Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity recently opened its eighth exhibit. Titled 'Steinberg Meets the Eameses,' the event is an exploration of the relationship between design icons Ray and Charles Eames and artist Saul Steinberg.

The curated show displays collaborative works by Eames and Steinberg. These pieces emerged in 1950 and some of the most iconic objects are a number of cheeky chairs designed by Eames and painted by Steinberg. Additionally, the event also features photographs taken by Charles Eames of the creative process.

The exhibition at The Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity coincides with the launch of the recreated Eames Fiberglass Armchair with Steinberg Cat by Vitra and Herman Miller. Alongside the exhibit, which launched on June 14th, a limited-edition book was also made available to fans of the designer and artist.
