Some might believe that the drink coaster is a home accessory that can't be improved upon much, but the Taftware Titanium table coasters prove otherwise. As the name denotes, the coasters are made from titanium and are 3.5-inches in diameter.
The slim metallic disks are machined from Grade 5 titanium in the United States before being finished with bead blasting for a textured finish. This allows cups, mugs and glasses from suctioning onto the surface when condensation is present. As one might expect because of the titanium material used to make them, the coasters are inherently lightweight.
The Taftware Titanium table coasters are currently available for preorder on Kickstarter where the product has already surpassed it's funding goal. The coasters retail for $25 each or can be purchased in packs of four for $75.
