The SXSW Kindsign Session Lets You Create Encouraging Signs

The SXSW Kindsign session is an initiative that brings the wonderful Kindsign art project to SXSW attendees. KindSigns is a project that encourages everyday citizens to create simple signs that communicate personalized, provocative and inspiring messages to foster community spirit and inspire and encourage people to do good for the people and things around them.

When creating a sign, participants have to think about what piece of wisdom they've always wanted to share with others around them, how they can challenge and delight others around them and how to use simple but eye-catching visuals to communicate their idea or message. A great example of this would be a drawing of a small sapling with the caption "Never grow up".

With all of the complex, eye-catching and technologically advanced attractions and activities on show at SXSW, the SXSW Kindsign project will give attendees the chance to sit back and think about simple ways to better their communities.
