Suzanne Moxhay, a talented artist based out of London who holds degrees from the Chelsea College of Art and The Royal Academy School, recently focused her efforts on transforming scenes by adding unconventional elements into them. She manages this by using a technique known as "matte painting," which allows her to supply images with three dimensional components.
Suzanne Moxhay's latest work does this in a way that's both uniform and diverse, as she blends scenes of abandoned buildings with beautiful imagery from nature. For example, one image shows a miniature forest within an empty room that's deeply deteriorated. By combining the two elements, she infuses depressing man-made structures with a much more lively environment, making for an interesting contrast.
