Nomad Energy is now introducing itself to the world via a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter as a "Radically Sustainable Energy Drink" made of just six plant-based ingredients.
The idea for the product began with the creation of a cascara tea, made from the coffee fruit, and people responding positively to the energizing properties of the beverage but wished it was effervescent and came in a convenient package. As such, Nomad Energy was developed for the conscious consumer on the go who is looking for a better-for-you energy drink.
The simple ingredient combination that makes up the beverage is cascara, water, lemon juice, maple syrup as a sweetener, plus Himalayan pink salt and carbon dioxide for the bubbles. Nomad Energy is said to have a flavor that's just like "your favorite iced tea/lemonade mix, but sparkling and in a can."
