Gamers oftentimes find interesting ways of integrating their lives with video games, such as making a Super Mario-themed map. Brooklyn-based artist Ken Kocses created ‘Mario Bros map of Bushwick,’ a Super Mario-inspired map of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Kocses’ map, which was designed for Bushwick Daily, features signature structures and buildings that have been a part of Bushwick community.
The map’s style of design is reminiscent of the old Nintendo Super Mario World games, a game that would be known as one of the best Super Mario games to date. With so many problems and frustrations in daily life, city officials and government leaders from around the world should revamp their city maps and country maps to integrate a mapping style of Super Mario proportions. It won’t solve any political issues, but it sure will put a smile on everyone’s face.
