The 'Super Cedar' Perfume Reveals a Familiar Scent that Releases Over Time

Byredo recently unveiled its latest perfume titled Super Cedar, which is said to present one's nose with a familiar and pleasant aroma.

Created by Byredo perfumer Jérôme Epinette, Super Cedar contains hints of pencil shavings, which "evokes a sense of nostalgia from school days and simpler times." The ultimate goal for this minimalist cologne is to infuse wearers with a sense of calm and ease. Unlike many of Byredo's existing perfumes, this particular aroma is designed to linger on one's skin and release the scent slowly over time. For example, the scent will be much stronger after half an hour of wear when compared to the time when it was originally sprayed.

The perfume is not currently available for consumers, but will be launched on March 2, 2016.
