Target is Launching a California Roots Sangria for $5

Target first launched its California Roots series in 2017 and it this spring, it will be expanding this collection with an all-new $5 summer sangria. While many consumers have been enjoying other products from the California Roots series like the Chardonnay and Red Bled, Target shoppers will soon be able to purchase a ready-to-drink sangria that's described as having fresh berry and citrus notes.

Like Target, a number of retailers have begun experimenting with the sales of budget-friendly wines that provide people with cost-effective alternatives to premium offerings. Currently, about 80% of Target's retail locations are licensed to sell wine, meaning that many people across the United States will have access to this affordable summer sangria.
