Pennsylvania-based Troegs Independent Brewing is launching a delectable and somewhat experimental IPA that was inspired by field trips to Yakima Valley in Washington, known as a hotbed of hops due to its climate, soil and irrigation infrastructure. Accordingly, the 'Field Study' IPA lays bare the educational effort that went into brewing a beverage that comprises a blend of Mosaic, El Dorado and Citra hops.
With hints of pear, melon and grapefruit, this experimental IPA has delectable fruity notes, with the use of Rustic Pale malt giving the brew a nutty character.
