The 'Tundra Conundrum' IPA Uses An Experimental Hop Variety

Green Bay, Wisconsin-based Badger State Brewing took the prudent decision to team up with none other than Decorah, Iowa-based Toppling Goliath Brewing with the noble goal of creating a delicious new hazy IPA that was brewed with experimental hops of the HBC 1019 variety.

Crafted as a limited-edition offering, the 'Tundra Conundrum' hazy IPA features a refreshingly juicy and fruit-first hop character that can be attributed to the influence of the HBC 1019 experimental hop. Elsewhere, this tasty beer boasts a light foundation of malt that helps to hold in the hoppy and fruity flavor notes and enable them to shine on the palate.

The end result is a hazy IPA that is powerful yet accessible as a casual sipper, and one that is said to pay tribute to the Wisconsin-Iowa border region and its hardworking inhabitants.
