If you are looking for the perfect location to take that special someone on a romantic date, look no further than the Summer Cave. Located in Southern Italy, this underground sea cave has been voted one of the most romantic restaurants in the world, according to the Fodor travel guide.

Carved out of natural limestone, this secluded cave resides just below the 20-room hotel that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is built on the cliff tops and a stairway was built to gain access to the restaurant.

While only open in the summer months of May to October, this cave is naturally lit by the reflection from the aqua marine waters. There are a series of tables for dining, a bar and many seaside lounge chairs perfect for an evening drink overlooking the ocean.
