The Stryder Crutch Scooter is a concept hybrid that is both, yep, a scooter and a walking crutch. I could have used this about eight years ago when I broke my ankle and was more or less bound to the couch for a month.
In scooter form, there is actually a ledge that allows the user to keep his or her leg elevated. It has a simple fold up design making it quite easy for the injured individual to transform it into a standard crutch.
