The Logitech-owned company, Streamlabs, has launched a new tool that helps streamers make a sustainable income. Streamlabs has launched a new tipping service called Streamlabs Creator Subscription, which essentially lets streamers set up a subscription/tipping option for their fans.
Ashray Urs, Head of Product at Streamlabs, explains that the live streaming industry is ever-growing, and Streamlabs wanted to offer its users a sustainable revenue model. The company says that 100 percent of the tips received (after PayPal's cut) will go the streamer.
Creators will be responsible for deciding whatever subscription cost they want to offer their fans. Fans will also receive perks such as Redeemable Alerts, which will get them a shout-out by their favorite streamer.
