Created by Antonio Lupi, the Strappo sink is a clever new design alternative to the traditional bowl-shaped sink you're probably familiar with. Strappo translates to "tear," and the emphasis in the Strappo sink is for the tearing to go upwards.
The Strappo sink has a very cool, futuristic look to it. The sort of sink you'd expect them to be using in a sci-fi movie where the world has been shaped by a singular sense of style. That might be a bit oppressive to think about, but in the real world, it gives life and reach to a new design which can evoke such a broad scope, even if that scope is just the stuff of movies.
