Stockholm Is Your Canvas is a unique art exhibit that took advantage of a digital billboard in the Stureplan area. Yet instead of displaying the work of already famous artists, it gave citizens a chance to put their own personal work up for all the city to see.
Part of Stockholm Art Week to promote the event, which was held during the first week of April, Stockholm Is Your Canvas was conceived and executed by M&C; Saatchi Stockholm. To get their work displayed on the billboard for 30 seconds, artists simply had to visit the official website, provide their name, the title of their art, city and cell number. They then chose a desired time to show their work and submitted their artwork in a specific file format.
