A good frame could run a pretty penny and although the results are often well worth it, Stiicks by Brandon Knowlden, a former ad guy, shows that simplicity always wins in the end. It is a modern and minimalist take on frames that appear to be inspired by the look of scrolls and retro projection screens.

Stiicks by Brandon Knowlden is made up of four thin strips of sustainable American hardwood that have been embedded with strong magnets. Two of the sticks are meant to be fixed to the wall at the top and bottom of the picture being mounted and then the other two are overlaid on top of the picture to secure it there.
