Disneyland Hong Kong's Star Wars Parade celebration took over the theme park last year and let die-hard fans immerse themselves into a real-life version of their favorite galactic story line. The park-wide event saw costumed fans fly in from nine different Asian countries including Macau, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan.
The impressive Star Wars Parade resembled a whimsical scene out of the famed film franchise and saw fans dressing up as both newly introduced and classic characters. In addition to celebrating iconic villain Darth Vader and his army of masked Stormtroopers, fans also payed homage to Chewbacca, Han Solo and Princess Leia along with other characters from the series' original, prequel and sequel films.
This immersive event targeted an audience of youth and adults and fostered a sense of community among Asia's Star Wars fanatics.
