PLEASURES Exhibits Its Spring/Summer Tees in an HBX Editorial
Kalina Nedelcheva — April 12, 2018 — Fashion
LA-based streetwear brand PLEASURES showcases its 2018 offering of Spring/Summer tees in a subdued and neon-lit editorial by HBX. Staying true to its punk roots, the label focuses on political commentary through discomforting and provocative imagery and slogans.
Staples in the line-up of the graphic-heavy Spring/Summer tees are designs like the white short sleeve that superimposes a nuclear symbol onto a peace sign in black ink. Below the grungy and thought-provoking illustration is the slogan "The time to live and the time to die." The words are colored in red, which signifies the immediacy of the statement on the white background.
In addition, the designs of the Spring/Summer tees collection include a boot with a mushroom cloud, as well as other grunge-style graphics.
