This Spiced Rum Drink Boasts the Taste of Coffee & Cigarettes

When you think of a spiced rum drink, what comes to mind are probably ingredients like cinnamon, ginger and cloves—but this rum is designed to taste like that, plus coffee and cigarettes. This concoction by Stolen Rum takes inspiration from the 'Coffee and Cigarettes' short film series from Jim Jarmusch. Just as the dialogue in the films is thought-proviking, Stolem Rum describes that "We set out to create a sensory experience that fuels creative conversations."

The rum is distilled and aged in the Caribbean in oak barrels for a minimum of two years before it it blended. From there, natural spices are added in order to simulate the scents and taste of coffee and cigarettes. This includes mixing in Moroccan fenugreek, Madagascar vanilla beans and arabica coffee beans from Colombia.
