Created by Beth at the food blog Tasty Yummies, the gluten-free recipe creates the margaritas in two different ways: with a traditional spiced or smoked version. The spiced apple cider margarita calls for ingredients including freshly squeezed lime juice, apple cider (preferably with no sweetener added), maple syrup and a ground pumpkin pie spice blend consisting of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and similar spices. Depending on if you want the traditional or smoked flavor, you will add either gold tequila or mezcal. The drink also features a spiced sugar rim and can contain garnish such as apple slices or cinnamon sticks.
