City-Inspired Basketball Sneakers

The Special Field Air Force 1 Mid “LA" Celebrates Los Angeles

Nike is paying homage to Los Angeles with the release of The Special Field Air Force 1 Mid β€œLA,” which is complete with a city-specific colorway.

The shoe's classic silhouette has been updated with bold yellow and purple detailing, celebrating the city with distinctive branding. The shoes boast a unique yellow stitched swoosh that's complemented by purple laces with a gold tip. The shoes take cues from the branding of the L.A Lakers, with unique detailing that features 'Los Angeles' embroidered on the sneaker's adjustable ankle strap. Gorgeously elegant elements also adorn the sneakers, appearing as a floral embroidered basketball, which contrasts the shoe's rugged feel.

The retro shoes, which have been modernly reinterpreted will be available mid October.
