Spazio Leone repurposes a former Victorian factory into a multifunctional gallery, showroom, and event space. To do so, it retains key elements of the original industrial structure while introducing contemporary interventions. The project preserves exposed brick walls, timber beams and structural columns, using these as the backdrop for new architectural insertions such as glazed partitions and refined service cores. The result is a spatial sequence that juxtaposes historical fabric with modern spatial organisation.
Interior circulation routes link exhibition zones and display areas through a series of generous volumes that admit natural light via newly introduced skylights and enlarged openings. Custom joinery and lighting systems are integrated to support flexible programming for installations, product showcases and community events.
