The limited-edition Apothic Sparkling Red is a new creation from Apothic that was developed to appeal to fans who expressed their interest in a product that's "less pretentious, less delicate and more flavorful." Apothic Sparkling Red is simple, refreshing and is even said to pair well with everything. The sparkling red wine boasts notes of cherry, citrus and apple, which makes it a great-tasting match for everything from pizza and desserts to sushi.
Heather Austin, Apothic’s Director of Marketing, calls Apothic Sparkling Red "a complete departure from all things conventional sparkling wine," especially as the product is not white, not too sweet and not overly sparkly, as compared to something like Prosecco. Although red wine is naturally seen as dark and dramatic, this sparkling variety has the potential to introduce a casual, approachable drinking experience.
