Art installations such as the Space, Light, Sound and Drugs exhibit that stimulate each and every one of our senses are definitely events that must be experienced. This hallucinogenic space will surely have you reeling in no time.
Commissioned by the French Ministry of Culture and MILDT, the Space, Light, Sound and Drugs art installation was created by Quatorze and Butong to raise awareness of the effects drugs can have on our minds and bodies. It contains three continuously linked spaces that represent pleasure, repetition and awakening.
The first space of the Space, Light, Sound and Drugs art installation is beautiful and tranquil with soft music and subtle lights. The second space is a harsh sound and light environment that closes in on the visitor. The last space brings a sense of reality by way of a numbing bass that reverberates through the body, making you want to leave the space for solid ground immediately.
