Limited-Edition Asian Whiskies

Ki One is South Korea's First Flagship Single-Malt Whisky

South Korean liquor distillery Three Societies Distillery is introducing the South Korean whiskey called Ki One, which is South Korea's first flagship single-malt whisky. The Ki One is made in South Korea and comes in 700ml bottles with 40 percent alcohol by volume. Three Societies Distillery CEO Bryan Do spoke about the new whiskey, saying: "We set about to create a world-class single malt whiskey with local characteristics that Koreans can be proud of."

The South Korean whiskey is aged in American virgin oak casks. As for the flavor and ingredients of the whiskey, it features the flavor of rich oak and vanilla crunch. There is also a taste of sweet banana and peach with some spice. The Ki One Flagship Single-Malt Whisky only produces 100 limited edition bottles of Cask Strength Ki One, which is 57.7 percent alcohol by volume. This will be offered in South Korea exclusively, and a wider release will be available in select retailers.
