The Soothe Extension Automatically Blurs Inappropriate Language

The internet isn't just butterflies and roses, but the Soothe extension for Google Chrome helps to makes one's browsing experience a little less vitriolic. The extension is a censor that blurs out content based on users' specified categories, helping people to have a less aggravating and troubling experience while on the web, even if it means that they don't get the full picture.

The Soothe extension uses AI to automatically and immediately analyze the text and images on one's browser. It can blur out content based on a variety of factors, including homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia, violence, or sexual violence. The extension uses context-dependent analysis, so it will only blur content if it violates the restrictions within context (rather than automatically blurring any keyword.)
