Speaker Cities

Sony 'Soundville' Fills Icelandic Town with Music in Latest Ad Campaign

The Sony ‘Soundville’ campaign features a fictional small town that has huge speakers filling the lives of all the inhabitants with music, talk and other noise. Not to say it isn’t a cool concept, but I can’t help but get the ‘Big Brother’ vibe whenever I see huge speakers amplifying any kind of noise on a group of people.

The Sony ‘Soundville’ ad may have had its heart in the right place, but struck an off chord with me. Also, how pissed would you be if Sony came in and blasted music in your town for a week? Check out more on the Sony ‘Soundville’ campaign at link below.
