Kavalan Launches Its Solist Madeira Cask In Travel Retail Options

Kavalan Distillery introduced the limited-edition Kavalan Solist Madeira Cask, a cask-strength Taiwanese single malt aged in first-fill Madeira casks and released exclusively through global travel retail. The expression is bottled at varying ABVs of approximately 50–59% from multiple single casks, presented non-chill filtered, with no added colouring and offered in a one-litre format.

The release is limited to approximately 6,000 bottles and is available in travel retail locations across South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Japan. Tasting notes include cherry, grape, apple, cinnamon, butter, toffee, almond and vanilla, reflecting the influence of Madeira's Tinta Negra wine casks on Kavalan's tropical whisky profile.

For travellers and collectors, the limited-run Solist Madeira Cask delivers a distinctive, wine-aged expression, reflecting the growing appeal of exclusive travel-retail releases for premium spirits enthusiasts.
