This Solar-Powered Car Maximizes Sunlight Exposure When Parked

A team of engineers working out of the University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands have developed a wonderfully sleek and exceptionally powerful solar-powered car, dubbed the Stella Vie, that serves as a significant upgrade over its 2015 predecessor the Stella Lux.

The Stella Vie features less liberal use of solar panels but more than compensates for this with an improved aerodynamic shape, made possible by a curvaceous roof a boat-inspired tail, as well as a range of other high-tech features such as a parking system that takes the position of the sun into account in order to boost and optimize sunlight exposure while parked.

By using smart technology to maximize sunlight exposure, this solar-powered car proves that eco-friendly vehicles don't have to be solar panel-plastered eyesores in order to blend performance, style and eco-friendly transportation.
