The Sofista Sofa Splits into Three Separate Seats

The Sofista is a modular three-seater couch that can be separated into three different seating units. In its default setting, it's a normal-looking three-seater couch with arms on each side. But when the arms are pulled away, one becomes the chair and the other a chaise lounge. In this mode, seating for two or three additional people becomes available but can be tucked back away when not required.

The Sofista comes with a removable cloth washer that is machine washable. The pads are made from polyurethane foam while the legs are constructed from beech wood.

The Sofista costs a hefty $1,620, but that price isn't too bad when you consider that it essentially functions as an entire living room set. This ingenious piece of furniture is available in eight different color patterns.
