Stationhead is a Social Radio Startup That Now Has New Capabilities

Stationhead, the social radio startup, is an app that allows users to stream radio DJs and more. Recently the app was reworked to allow for on-demand listening, which will transform the app's capabilities. The app also has the ability for users to call into a specific show.

The updates to the social radio startup are the result of integration with Spotify and Apple Music. The new integration means that the platform does not need to create separate license agreements for music, this means that when a DJ on the platform plays music it is sourced from a user's Spotify or Apple Music account.

The initial idea behind Stationhead was to continue radio broadcasting traditions that offer a personal connection which playlist based platforms cannot.
