Voodoo Soap Packaging

The Khulu Soap Box Designs Promise to Undo Fatalities With Promising Spells

The Khulu soap box designs are quite eye-catching because they promise to cure all sorts of fatalities with promising spell incantations. The packaging was put together by South-African design firm Fanakalo.

Fanakalo's soap packaging designs take inspiration from archetypal voodoo culture. Back in the day natural remedies were often seen as holistic methods used to keep evil spirits away, attract love and summon mythical physical strength. Each of the soap scents are designed to cure a different aliment from an awful love life to not being able to see one's own inner beauty. The packaging features colorful tiki-inspired graphics with witty words that promise that the various Khulu soap flavors will " remove skin impurities and bad spirits" and make people "... only have eyes for you!"
