You wouldn't think that there would be any new direction to take the idea of smartphone chargers these days. I mean, it's a pretty simply concept. Your smartphone needs charging, so you plug your smartphone charger into an electrical outlet, and you charge it.

However, here's a pretty unique idea that could definitely come in handy when you need a little extra juice in your iPhone. An Indiegogo start-up project has resulted in the ChargeBite, a unique little device that essentially allows users to transfer power from one iDevice to another. A device such as an iPhone, iPod or iPad is connected to the charging end of the ChargeBite, while one or two other iDevices are plugged into the leeching ends to charge the original device. It's a simple idea that could help change the way we look at smartphone chargers and charging.
