'Vidameter' is an ingenious wearable smartband that combines all the features of conventional fitness trackers with additional healthcare and safety-monitoring functionality.
This smartband tracks wearers' pulse, blood oxygen levels, blood flow rate, activity levels, calories burned, steps taken and skin temperature. When wearers exercise, the smartband's software collects and analyzes data and provides tips and recommendations to the wearer.
However, the smartband also boasts a range of additional safety features make it stand out among wearable fitness trackers. For example, it will warn you if you're overdoing your exercise to the point where you're endangering your health rather than improving it. The device is equipped with emergency alerting mechanisms that can call for help in the event of an accident or emergency.
This smartband, which weighs only 34 grams, is powered by an octa-core ARM Cortex A53 chip and runs on a proprietary operating system dubbed 'Vidamet.' The device can run for over a week on a single charge.
